The base principle on these trousers is to avoid side seams and have one continuous piece of fabric for each leg. The front pockets are sewn directly into the darts, which graduate from the hip to the waist.
The backside of the front pockets merges directly with the inside waistband and resembles a lining. Every inside seam is covered by bias tape.
