Modular Production

A key principle in our design philosophy is the focus on local production. We honor a minimalist approach, where each pattern piece is carefully considered for its functionality and ease of production. Our goal is to minimize the number of pattern pieces, only adding seam lines if they serve a purpose. We emphasize the aesthetic of using large fabric pieces that fluently drape around the body untouched by seams. The approach of a streamlined design process and emphasizing the beauty of minimalism is a key advantage in terms of local production. Every garment is crafted directly in our Copenhagen workshop, allowing us to create small quantities with various style options and fabric choices within the same production batch. This strategy helps us avoid overproduction. We developed a modular system of a few pattern pieces categorized in A, B and C. A : jackets, coats, dress shirts, blazers, sweatshirts and t-shirts B : trousers C : skirts, dresses and tops

Every pattern piece within these categories are modular. A sleeve pattern fits into every armhole whether it is a one- or twostitch sleeve, every collar pattern and every inside “semi-foer” fits to every body piece.

With our modular system of few pattern pieces, we are able to produce both blazers, jackets and shirts in the same batch - with every production step in the same order. With this flexible method we can adjust our batches according to incoming orders, reducing both waiting time and over production.
